Description

Portinatx is very compact in it's beutiful cove with its three beaches, shops, bars and restaurants all within walking distance.

Head down to Las Salinas where the sparkling salt fields have been in use for over 2 centuries. If you need to cool off why not visit the Aquaman Splashdown water park? Or view the local sea-life with a glass-bottom boat trip.

It's easy to see why Portinatx was chosen as the setting for the film South Pacific, with its pretty coves, sandy beaches and crystal clear waters.

Beaches

There are three main beaches in Portinatx. S'Arenal Grand and S'Arenal Petit are nearest to the resort centre, while Es Port beach is at the north end of the resort. They all boast fine sand and are easy to reach, a sun-seekers delight.

Shopping

The resort centre includes some small supermarkets, souvenir, leather and fashion shops. Be sure to check out the Hippy Market selling a colourful array of accessories and trinkets which takes place on Sundays.

Nightlife

Portinatx is relaxed by day, and lively by night. With a number of bars and restaurants providing music and entertainment to suit everyone.

Portinatx offers a good selection of mainly Spanish cuisine in good quality restaurants. There are also a number of fast food outlets available.
