Cala Tarida

Cala Tarida offers an excellent location for families with small children to relax in, but for stimulation further afield buses run to the island's capital, Ibiza Town, and to San Antonio, a buzzing resort popular with young people.

Cala Tarida is a peaceful resort with a sheltered bay of pale sand, ideal for a beach based holiday. There are a few small bars and a couple of restaurants in the area. A bus service runs to the village of San Jose 6km away and to the popular resort of San Antonio 10km away.

Cala Tarida boasts one of the best beaches on the island, making this fine sandy retreat excellent for families, with shelters in the wide bay. Various watersports are on offer during the day.

Shopping

Shopping is limited to a range of supermarkets plus a variety of shops catering to tourists. If you are looking for a more intense shopping experience why not head for Ibiza town, or San Antonio? Both offer a huge variety of shops.

Nightlife

Relaxing by day and relaxing by night, Cala Tarida offers a small selection of bars where the pace of life doesn't change, but for a more up beat night take local transport and head to San Antonio one of Europe's party capitals.
